TheFatRat

TheFatRat is mainly useful for learning and demonstrating payload generation and post-exploitation concepts, particularly in controlled lab environments. It automates parts of the Metasploit/msfvenom workflow and can generate payloads for multiple platforms, but its heavy focus on backdoors and antivirus evasion makes it much more of a specialized lab and red-team training tool than something we'd use routinely during a standard pentest. We'd reach for it when teaching or testing endpoint defenses, not as a general-purpose exploitation framework.
