About Us

SysAlbania is a cyber security education platform. We publish hands-on guides, tutorials and videos, maintain a library of free open-source security tooling, and track newly disclosed vulnerabilities — written by people who run these tools in real engagements rather than summarising other people's write-ups.

What we publish

  • Articles and tutorials on penetration testing, bug bounty, red teaming and threat hunting, with real commands and real output.
  • A free tool library — XSS scanners, OSINT utilities, exploitation frameworks and DevOps security tooling, each with setup notes and a link to the original source.
  • A CVE tracker covering newly disclosed vulnerabilities, with severity and exploit-likelihood scoring drawn from NVD and CISA.
  • Video walkthroughs and quizzes for people who learn by doing rather than reading.

Who it is for

People learning offensive and defensive security: students, junior penetration testers, bug bounty hunters, and system administrators who have been handed responsibility for security without being trained for it. Everything is written to be usable by someone at a terminal, not just read.

Our position on offensive security

We write about attack techniques because you cannot defend a system you do not understand. All content is published for education and for authorised testing only. We do not provide services to help anyone access systems they do not own or have written permission to test, and we do not publish material aimed at causing harm. Every tool page carries this expectation explicitly.

Security services

Alongside the free content, we carry out paid security work — penetration testing, security audits, and web and IT services — through services.sysalbania.com. Testing is only ever performed against systems the client owns or is authorised to test, under a written agreement.

How we fund the site

The site is free to read. It is funded by advertising, optional Pro memberships, sponsorships, and our security services work. Pro members do not see advertising. How advertising and analytics handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Editorial standards

We publish original material: our own screenshots, our own command output, our own testing. When we reference someone else's research or tool, we link to and credit the original. If you find an error in something we have published, tell us and we will correct it.
